Point spout tip into ear canal. Squeeze bottle to release enough drops to partially fill the ear canal. Gently massage the base of the ear canal to help loosen wax. Remove liquid, dissolved wax, and dirt with cotton balls or facial tissue. Repeat as needed. Do not use cotton swabs or insert pointed objects into the ear.

It most definitely does not have a baby powder scent. More like witch hazel, tea tree oil, and aloe which are listed as ingredients. My cat didn't like it but that is to be expected.

Seems to clean well, but spout needs improvement.

It says baby powder scent, but I do not smell that at all. To me it smells more like pine & antiseptic. That being said, I am not sure that ear cleaner needs to be scented. The spout needs a little work. It comes out a little too quickly & after use didn’t close all the way. It did seem to clean her ears well. Used cotton immediately after putting in cleaner & massaging ears. The following day I removed additional loosened wax. Cleaned & seems to have soothed her ears some too.
